Spring 2021 Vertically Integrated Project (VIP) Poster Session

Hawaii Council of Engineering Societies (HCES) Engineers Week Kickoff

Team Hōkūlele put on a rocketry exhibit at Windward Mall for the Engineers Week Kickoff, and event that was open to the public and featured various local engineering firms and student projects. Team Hōkūlele was also featured at the Engineers Week Banquet.
Engineering Council of the University of Hawaii (ECUH) VEX Robotics Tournament
November 22-23, 2019
Members of Team Hōkūlele volunteered on Friday evening to help set up the team pit areas, competition fields, and miscellaneous event materials. On Saturday morning, team members set up a rocketry exhibit with the rocket flown earlier this year and spoke with visitors about our project and the opportunities for students in aerospace.
2019 School of Ocean and Earth Science and Technology (SOEST) Open House
October 25-26, 2019
Team Hōkūlele collaborated with the Hawaii Space Flight Laboratory to put on a rocketry exhibit and conduct a straw rocket launcher activity at the SOEST Open House, which was attended by thousands of K-12 students and other attendees.
2019 Fall Welcome Back Showcase (ECUH)
Team Hōkūlele held a joint exhibit with Team Makani (CanSat) to promote the two projects and recruit additional team members.
